You may release any minor leaguers without a penalty. You may also release major leaguers who have not yet completed a year of service time without a penalty. Simply post the name of the player here and he will be removed from your roster and your payroll. You will not be able to add the player again, or claim someone else's player, until the draft.

I could easily think of a worse player than Darren Ford, he stole like 50 bases a year in minors. I agree he's never gonna be able to hit enough to play in the majors though

u should have seen him play here in my hometown i think he is the most hated player ever in the 40 some years of history of the team lol he hit like 2 for 40 or something

After finding their prospect drunk and with illegal prescription pills, the organization has decided on the following action:
Indians release SS Carlos Rivera ($400,000).
A spokesman for the organization says "We do not tolerate this weak behavior. There was no evidence of a stripper involved and that would have saved his status. Swing big or go home. In our professinal opinion, Rivera does not have the ablity to party like a true big league player. He does not deserve to be in the show. It would eat him alive."
