Apart from just a few more minor points of polish and editing (including your earlier notes, commish), the real meat-and-potatoes of the project is complete and I'm ready to cut the ribbon on the restoration I've done to the Official Rosters.
As many of you have noticed, I've been slowly tweaking and...well, essentially 'tricking out' the Official Rosters thread.
If you've not had a look in the last few weeks, do so now.

First, you'll notice the color coding.
Trust me when I say 'you'll get used to it'.
Beyond that, you may even begin to find how much easier it is to evaluate you and your opponents, dissect his needs for potential trades, and analyze any one teams' future.
It's pretty basic-
Players in Green - long-term contracts (2yrs+)
Players in Purple - cost-controlled
Players in Red - 1-year or expiring contracts
Players in Blue - minor-leaguers/rookies
*denotes tender contract eligible
One slight bit of explanation may be toward the last line, there, regarding 'tender contract eligible'.
For example- the Braves have...
----Jack Hannahan 0.7 million (2012) *(5th year)-----
The astrick and year inform that whereas Hannahans' 0.7 million contract expires at seasons end, the GM still holds the option to tender Hannahan at 2.0 million for his 6th year of control. Savvy?
Beyond the color-coding of it all (which will be updated and maintained from season to season), uniformity was also a priority.
All rosters should follow the same general pattern
-a starting 9
-bench hitters
-starting pitchers
-relief pitchers
-minor leaguers
You'll also notice that players on the 40-man roster (apart from the 'starting 9') are in order by color.
Minor-leaguers are ordered by position.
Message me and/or commish with any disputes or errors (i.e. missing players or $$ issues).
I could also message anyone a copy-and-paste version of their rosters' color coding to add to a Clubhouse.
Feel free to praise or bash in comments.
And certainly offer more ideas.
And stay tuned for more projects.
And don't forget about some of these guys...
