I have Ian Kennedy, Brandon McCarthy, Kyle Gibson, Andrew Heaney, Felix Hernandez, and Dan Straily for the rotation plus others hopefully coming back from injury. In the bullpen, I currently have options of Seung-hwan Oh, Brad Hand, Blake Treinen, Jake McGee, Caleb Smith, Kazuhisa Makita, Burch Smith, John Curtiss.
I think there's a better than 50% chance I lift this redshirt within the next month. But I figure I might as well try to see if I can do without him since he's 3rd year anyway and this is my last chance to redshirt... Eduardo Nunez covers 3B [his other positions are occupied by Rizzo (2B), Correa (SS), and Trout, Benintendi, and Mazara (OF)] while Odubel Herrera is my DH.
Basically my entire offense needs to stay healthy for this redshirt to last, but I might as well hope for the best since lifting it later costs me nothing...
This is borderline given the complete lack of depth if anyone should become injured, but given past precedent in similar cases you have every position covered for now so this is approved.

Wright and Whitley - approved, but consider adding some RP depth at some point to cover an injury to one of your SPs. Since Strahm and Brooks are both RP eligible, if a SP were to go down you would be expected to move one of Strahm or Brooks to the rotation, and be able to cover their bullpen spot. If an SP injury results in an empty roster spot in either the rotation or pen, a redshirt may need to be lifted.

2B/SS Willy Adames (2nd year) - he's been struggling so bad, I'll be benching him and moving Miguel Rojas to SS next week anyway. Yoan Moncada is at 2B. Thairo Estrada is available on the bench. Beyond that I can lift this redshirt should injuries make it necessary.
