Yahoo moves

Please remember that we can only guarantee that a move will be made for the upcoming week if your request is posted by the end of the day on the preceding Friday. We will do our best to get moves in even if they are posted over the weekend, but we can't guarantee that one of us will be available or able to do so unless it's posted earlier. If you do suddenly realize over the weekend that there's a move you want made, don't fret: chances are one of us will be able to make it for you. However, if you want to maximize those chances, here are a few things you should do:
1) Post the move in the appropriate place (trades, free agency, promotions, etc) and in the reserves thread (see note at the end of this post about the reserves thread).
2) Go on Yahoo and check to see if the moves for that week have already been made (look under recent transactions).
If so, proceed to step 3 - there's no way a commissioner is going to know that you have moves that you want made unless you contact us directly, because as far as we're concerned, we've already made the moves for that week.
If not you're probably good to go, but feel free to proceed to step 3 anyway to make extra sure.
3) PM the two commissioners for your league (me and Brian (Blue Jays GM) for AL, Jesse (Reds GM) and Smitty (Mets GM) for NL - and if you feel like it, me as well for NL, since I can make NL moves in a pinch as a last resort) to let us know about the request. Like I said, if we've already made the moves for the week, then as far as we know, we've done our job. So unless you tell us otherwise we're just going to continue assuming that we have nothing else to do. Feel free to post on the Chatango as well, especially if you see that one of us is on, but PM is the best way to make sure we see it.
4) In addition to making adds and drops, all four of us actually have the ability to set your lineup for you (Brian, Jesse, and Smitty - if you're not sure how to do this, ask me). We would never do this unless you asked us to, but if you ask us we actually can do this for you. So if it's late at night on a Sunday and you have to get up early on Monday but you also want to stay up to set your lineup in case we get around to making your move on time, just drop us a PM. Make sure you tell us EXACTLY what you want done (e.g. "please move Willie Mays from reserves to active roster and Ted Williams from active roster to reserves. Please move Babe Ruth from OF to bench and move Willie Mays and Hank Aaron from the bench to take Ruth's and Williams' spots in the outfield"). If you send us an ambiguous message (leaving out first names for example, or not stating clearly what it is you want done), you have only yourself to blame if we do it wrong or if we simply delete your message and ignore you.
5) Remember that weekend moves are never guaranteed. Even if you PM all four of us and post in the Chatango and all of the right threads, the only way we can guarantee your move will be made in time for the following week is if you post before Friday ends. We'll do our best with weekend moves, but sometimes we're just not available.
Note on reserves:
Promotions, demotions, cuts, trades, free agent signings, waivers, etc are all moves that have an effect on your official roster. If you post in one of these sections, we know that we need to edit your official roster to reflect the change you posted (maybe not immediately, but we'll get to everything when we can). Reserves, on the other hand, is all about Yahoo. In addition to posting your moves in any of those other threads, make sure that if you want a move done on Yahoo, you post it in reserves as well - who you're deactivating and who you're activating. If you don't do this, we'll do our best to figure out what we think it is you want to have done, and if we can't we'll usually PM you, but you save us all a lot of time if you just remember that any time you need a player added to or removed from Yahoo, you should post it in reserves.
