2022 Trade Deadline and Draft Details

Hello everyone,
Now that we're in July, it's time to share some info on the most fun part of the season. Our trade deadline will be Sunday, July 31st at 11:59pm EST (8:59pm PST). All trades must be posted and accepted by that time. Once the calendar flips to August on the east coast, no more trades will be valid for 2022. We understand this is actually 2 days earlier than the real-life MLB deadline, but in order to keep our draft on schedule for the first Saturday of August and have all traded picks processed in advance, this is the timing the commissioners felt was best.
Please, while posting all trades do it as follows
Astros receive:
Ty Cobb 20M (2023)
2022 4th (TOR)
Blue Jays receive:
Daryl Strawberry 10M (2024)
2022 1st (HOU)
This will help immensely in knowing which picks are being traded, especially if you are trading another teams draft pick you acquired.
Secondly, our Amateur player draft will start on Saturday, August 6th at 12 pm EST. This will give us just under a week to process all trades involving picks and time for all GMs to verify that their pick ownership is correct in the draft order. The rules for the draft will be posted closer to the draft date in the appropriate thread.
