The 2022 World Series featured the Toronto Blue Jays (Brian) and St Louis Cardinals (Billy).
For the Blue Jays Dynasty, this was their fifth (!!!) consecutive appearance and sixth appearance overall, an absolutely unparalleled level of success.
For the Cardinals, this appearance represents another fantastic success, a major leap forward for a franchise that got off to a relatively slow start in the first half-decade of Pro-GM's history. The team made their first playoff appearance in 2019 and won their first division title in 2021, and now fly their first pennant, demonstrating that they've become a perennial contender and an opponent to fear.
Stop me if you've heard this one before: the Toronto Blue Jays are your World Series Champions! Looking at how close some of those stats were it's clear this was a hard-fought battle, but Brian's team triumphed and becomes the first five-time Pro-GM Champion, continuing their run of dominance with their unprecedented fourth win in a row.
