What do you guys think? I think I really like the Rays method. They make sure they are ready to go by the time they get to the bigs. I mean, Hellickson and Moore.... they both weren't brought up when everyone thought they should be. They were forced to get extra experience at their levels. And now it's paying off for Tampa.
I think more teams should do this with players rather than rush them to the majors so they can get more productive years out of them. What do you think?

Agreed, saw Moore for the first time last night against the Yankees. He has three good different pitches, very fluid "classic" delivery style and did great against an albeit watered down Yankee lineup. Yankee announcers (David Cone epecially) made the point that Moore seemed more MLBB ready than David Price was when Price first came up.

It depends on the prospect and the situation, but I don't think anyone will disagree that tampa is one of the best at developing home grown talent from the farm
