2011-12 Primary Free Agency

Here it is, the announcement you've all been waiting for...

Free agency will begin Monday, December 19th at 6:00 PM Eastern Time. It will be conducted in the free agency thread.

TWELVE free agents will be bid on at a time for this free agency period.

The starting twelve free agents will be announced at least 24 hours before the start of free agency. They will be selected randomly from among the Type A free agents. To start off with there will be one catcher, three 1B/OF/DH's, three 2B/3B/SS's, three SPs, and two RP.

Huge thanks to Brian for that list. Just want to be clear that while it's not an official list, it is still a great tool to use as a guideline. Just make sure you also search the player's name on the Official Rosters to confirm that he's not on someone else's team already, and please know that there are other players available who aren't on this list (because it's impossible to include everybody) that you'll have to find on your own.
