For the first time since the end of the regular season, the Official Rosters are completely accurate and up to date for where we are right now. We have gone through and modified, approved, and updated all rosters to their 2012 rosters, added all free agents signed thus far, and processed all trades. Now there are a few things to address:
First of all, I want to give an enormous thanks to Brian, who buckled down and spent about 6 hours this afternoon processing all of the remaining trades that I hadn't gotten to yet, going through no fewer than 45 trades in the process and adding each to the rosters.
Secondly, concerning a minor change in salaries: we have decided that, to keep things simple, we are going to round all free agent salaries down to the nearest 0.1 million. So once you sign a free agent, we'll apply the discount and if there's any spare change ($99,999 or less ) we'll take it off for you. We have rounded down the contracts already on the rosters.
Third, now that the Official Rosters are up to date, that's the primary place to go to see who's on each team, and exactly how much money each team has available. Take a look at your team to make sure there are no discrepancies. Also take a look at the 2012 and 2013 draft pick trade threads to see if all of the picks that you deserve to have are there. And if there's anything you want to change about the way the rosters look (the order of your prospects, which players should be listed as starters, etc), post in the roster requests thread. That thread is not for call ups or transactions, just for appearance and aesthetics.
Finally, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to each of you; Pro GM began right around this time last year, and whether you've been with us since then or if you've joined us along the way, each of you has played a key role in making the game successful. Thank you for being a part it!
