If you could undo one transaction (trade, FA signing, release, etc.) that you've done since taking over your team, what would it be? I'll start:
I definitely regret trading kevin correia and a 5th round pick for the overpaid tsuyoshi nishioka.
i was too desperate for a decent hitter and thought nishioka would put up decent numbers after recovering from his broken leg. needless to say, he did not.

Sorry bout that zack lol and I flipped Correia for Napoli ! Hmmm my worse transaction regret..... Probably trading Madison Bumgarner and Brandon Crawford to the Indians for Drew Pomeranz and Carlos Carrasco. Although I still really like Pomeranz his ceiling is what Bumgarner already is and Carrasco didn't work out for me. I made a lot more risky trades this off season so there might be a few next season but hopefully not

The four players I most regretted trading away (Moore, Jennings, Ackley, Reed) have all since been reacquired, but I had to pay steep prices to do so. Definitely the single trade that I regret most was the trade in which I gave up Moore: Three team deal between the Blue Jays, Rays, and Rockies Blue Jays receive: LHP Matt Moore 0.4 million (minors) - from Rays OF Leslie Anderson 0.4 million (minors) - from Rays LHP Enny Romero 0.4 million (minors) - from Rays RHP Wilking Rodriguez 0.4 million (minors) - from Rays SP- Jason Hammel 1.5 million (5th year) - from Rockies P- Christian Friedrich 0.4 million (minors) - from Rockies Rays receive: OF-Travis Snider 0.6 million (3rd year) - from Blue Jays SP-Shaun Marcum 1.5 million (5th year) - from Blue Jays SP-Marc Rzepczynski 0.6 million (3rd year) - from Blue Jays P- Chad Bettis 0.4 million (minors) - from Rockies Rockies receive: SP James Shields 2.0 million (6th year) - from Rays RHP Alex Cobb 0.4 million (minors) - from Rays Jays and Rockies to confirm (I gave up Moore, Anderson, Romero, Rodriguez, Shields, and Cobb). At least I've since reacquired Moore though, but at a steep price. I'm happy with the returns on the four players I received, but still - this was a lot to give up for a package centered around Snider, who failed to live up to expectations. I was undervaluing prospects at the time.

You also received Smoak and Joyce in the deal, not a bad haul. I do love that trade for my team because it marked a fundamental change in my organizational philosophy (up until then I was focusing on major leaguers in their 2nd or 3rd years rather than prospects and first year guys) and gave me two of my current core players, but the players I gave up are great guys to build around as well, and form a major part of the backbone of your team.

No question for me, the most regrettable deal I made was
Blue Jays Receive: 3B Casey Mcgehee (3rd year) RP Zack Braddock (2nd year) 3B Mat Gamel (1st year)
Brewers receive: 3B Jose Bautista (6th year) C Carlos Perez (1st year) Blue Jays 2012 1st round pick

Arizona :Mark Reynolds (5th 1.5m)
in exchange for
Twins: minor leaguers: Miguel Sano (.4m), Oswaldo Arcia (.4m), Max Kepler (.4m)
probably this is the one i regret most even though it wasnt my first, it was the first involving a good player. probably i could have give a lot les and still got it done. i remember he said those 3 names and i was like ok post it didnt even negotiate lol. didnt value prospects at all

The thing I regret most was when I started trading for the playoff run. I dont mind the trades as I knew I had to give to get players to help me.
The thing I regret was not doing it soon enough. With 3 weeks left, it wasnt enough time to make the playoff push. This year, I will be trying that earlier if I'm in position too.

1/21/11 Royals trade Zack Greinke, 2011 3rd round pick, and their 2012 3rd round pick to the Brewers for RHP Jake Odorizzi, CF Lorenzo Cain, RHP Jeremy Jeffress, and OF Kentrail Davis.
This did absolutely NOTHING for me. Odorizzi is a future guy, I thought Cain would start last year but didn't and I flipped him for Denard Span, Jeffress is awful, and who is Kentrail Davis? TERRIBLE.
