Any player who signs a contract with a new team for $10 million or more raw annual value (value before discounts are applied) will earn his previous team a pick in the Compensation round of the 2013 amateur draft. The order will be determined by raw annual value from highest to lowest (ties will be broken using contract length, with the longer contract earning the higher pick; if still tied, the higher pick will be determined randomly).
