Match up against any team

Fun little discovery on Yahoo: if you click on your match-up for the current week and tweak the URL, you can see how you would have fared against any team in the league. When I click on my match-up against the Angels this week, I get the following URL:
baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/89070/matchup?week=20&mid1=1&mid2=6
The 6 at the end of the URL represents the Angels. The 1 right before the ampersand represents me. By changing these numbers, I can see how I would have done against, say, a division rival like the Blue Jays. The Blue Jays are designated as team number 2 in the AL (to find out what number a team is, click on their team on the league home page and look at the URL. For example, when I click on my team I get baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/89070/1, while when I click on Brian's team I get baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/89070/2. It's entirely based off of the order in which teams signed up for the league). So, changing the 6 in the URL to a 2, I get:
baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/89070/matchup?week=20&mid1=1&mid2=2
I see I would have beaten Brian 10-2 this week (as it currently stands, at least). I can also change where it says week=20 and take a look at past weeks. In so doing I find that Brian and I would be 9-9 with 2 ties if we played each other every week - interesting to note should we face each other in the playoffs, since it would seem either team has a pretty good chance of beating the other.
Looking over at the NL, I'm curious to know how the two teams leading the NL West would have fared against each other if they'd played each other each week:
baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/129758/matchup?week=20&mid1=9&mid2=7
This week, the Giants are up 6-4 as things currently stand. Looking back at past weeks, it looks like the Giants would have a 12-8 lead (including this week) over the Diamondbacks for the season. Since Oren has a significantly better record than Alex in the league, this suggests that either Oren's opponents have under-performed when playing him, or else Alex's opponents have over-performed.
One thing to note is that when you look at past weeks, the number that is shown in the "score" column is the number that you actually scored that week against your actual opponent, NOT how much you would have scored against the opponent you've matched yourself up against. So if I were to look at last week to see how I would have done against Brian's Blue Jays, I get baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/89070/matchup?week=19&mid1=1&mid2=2, which appears to say Brian wins 11-9. Obviously this isn't accurate since there are only 12 categories; the reason for those numbers is that Brian won his match-up against the Athletics 11-1, while I won my match-up against the Twins 9-3. Instead of looking at those numbers you need to count the bold numbers for each team - these show which team would have won that category. Doing so shows that I'd have beaten Brian 10-2 last week.
