After five years in charge of the Angels, Mark has decided to step down. We thank Mark for his time in charge of that team and his positive contributions as a founding member of this community. I'm not sure we'll ever see a club in this league that can boast of a minor league system stronger than the juggernaut Mark put together during his time here. The Angels are poised for some real sustained success in the near future, and Mark will always be a part of that history.
If you know anyone who would be interested in taking over this team, have them message me and Brian with an application answering the following three questions: 1) what do you see as the team's strengths and weaknesses, 2) how would you go about addressing those needs short and long term (generally speaking - no specific targets, please) 3) what are your own strengths (and weaknesses) as a GM

I'm pleased to welcome David as the new GM of the Los Angeles Angels! I was very impressed with David's application, and I'm excited to see what he can do with this team. Welcome aboard, David!

Hello, my thanks to Ben for inviting me into the league, to Kevin ( Indians GM) for introducing me to the league and look forward to getting to know and competing with all of you here. Also my deep respect to the previous Angels GM and owner for his efforts and hard work.
This league looks like a fun league with a lot of depth and competition and a cadre of tough savvy owners and it's always good to be around like minded folks who love the game of baseball. I'm a big believer that if you love the game, that's all the common ground you'll ever truly need with anyone else in a baseball league. My general perspective in any fantasy league is to conduct myself in the manner of an owner I'd like to have in a league myself if I was a Commish there. I.E. be the kind of owner you would like to be around yourself.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area and still live and work here now. I have always been an avid fan of the local teams, the A's and Giants.
I look forward to getting to know all of you over time and appreciate the opportunity to be here and be given the chance to compete.
Thanks, David Angels GM
