Betz has decided to step down as GM of the Phillies. We continue to search for a GM who will be able to stick around and help this promising young team reach its full potential.

If you know anyone who would be interested in taking over this team, have them message me and Brian with an application answering the following three questions: 1) what do you see as the team's strengths and weaknesses, 2) how would you go about addressing those needs short and long term (generally speaking - no specific targets, please) 3) what are your own strengths (and weaknesses) as a GM.

Hi All! Thanks for the warm welcome Ben, Zac, Max, and Zack!! I definitely accept the position... and am excited to be the new Phillis GM!

A little about me: I've played Yahoo fantasy baseball for a number of years but its always been season long. i.e. no previous experience with dynasty, but it's going to be fun to now do what GMs actually do in building a team over the long haul and having to consider salary caps.

I now live on the East Coast (Virginia) and work days. I've been married 27 years and have two grown boys (26 and 25). Having grown up in western Washington State, I've been a Seattle Mariners fan (real life) since its inception in 1977.

Let the building of the Phillies begin...
