i dunno about minor league power rankings...seems like that would be extremely time-consuming due to how many players one would have to track the progress of and how difficult it is to find info on many prospects. i do like the idea of major league power rankings though.

I was thinking about doing a minor league ranking system based on Sickles ratings where it would be a point system to grade everyone's minor league systems. Something like
A=7 points A-=6 points B+=4 points B=3 points B-=2 points
I figured I'd only count B- and up and add total points to make the rankings 1-30. Does this sound alright to everybody. It wouldn't be exact but at least it would give us some idea. And this way with trades and the draft we can easily add the points and adjust the rankings as grades become available on the Sickles site.

Why not just make it.
A=7 A-=6 B+=5 B=4 B-=2 C+=1
Then we could have an even system.

Of the top twenty fantasy players (according to Yahoo), the NL has fifteen of them. The AL has number 4, number 9, number 11, number 13, and number 20 (Longoria, Cano, Crawford, Howard, and Hamilton). For what it's worth.
And as for the power rankings, I'd like to get them finished up but I want to get the AL and NL both running on Yahoo first.
