Leagues open on Yahoo

So after much thought (and the discovery that fantrax doesn't offer free 30 team leagues after all), the decision has been made to use Yahoo as the fantasy provider for the regular season portion of this league. There will be two separate leagues, one for the AL and one for the NL, as well as a third playoff league that will be opened up when the time comes to the eight teams that earn playoff spots.
There are a couple of things that need to happen now:
1) everyone needs to register for the appropriate league on Yahoo. I will send a PM and an email to everyone with the league information. Please register your team ASAP - I'm going to begin entering the players in on Thursday with or without a full league, so please sign up by the end of the day on Wednesday. If you're not signed up by then I'll be creating a dummy team and we'll transfer your team to you at a later point in time.
2) the one other shortcoming of Yahoo is that they don't allow 40-man rosters. So instead, we will be changing the roster configuration a little bit. We will still be using 40-man major league rosters, but we will have a 25-man active roster and 15 reserves. The 25-man active roster will be your roster on Yahoo. Your 15 reserves will be kept track of here, on Proboards. You can move players from your reserves to your active roster at any time (we'll create a thread for those moves), but we can't always guarantee that we will be able to adjust your roster on yahoo in time, so in order for the changes to be reflected on your roster at the beginning of the week, we'll ask that you make the request by the end of the day on Friday of the previous week.
That's all for now. Please look out for the PM and email with the league information.
