Hi All,
After 8 years in the role, Tucker has decided to step down as a co-commissioner of Pro-GM. Tucker has been an integral part of the commissioners group since 2014, especially in his administration of the NL Yahoo Leagues before we switched over to Fantrax in 2021. I can not thank him enough for all he's done over the years to make Pro-GM a better league and can safely say we wouldn't be where we are today without him. Tucker will continue on as Padres GM, so this is not a good bye. On behalf of all of the commissioners past and present, THANK YOU TUCKER!
Looking ahead to continuing to make Pro-GM the best league it can be, the commissioners have decided that we'd like to open this role up for interested GMs to apply for. One significant change from past commissioner selections: since we no longer have separate AL and NL leagues, this role will be open to any interested GM from either league.
GMs interested in stepping up into the co-commissioner role should apply by sending a PM to Brian and Jon answering the following questions:
1) What skills do you have that you think can help the commissioners to administer the league better? Is there a particular part of the league operations where you'd like to take a more prominent role?
2) What ideas do you have for improving the league that you'd like to implement? Are there any rules, scoring stats, tools, or features you've used that you think would add value here?
3) What experience do you have in a leadership role in other fantasy leagues? What are your current time/responsibility commitments to other fantasy leagues?
4) One particular challenge the commissioners are looking for the new co-Commissioner to help with is recruiting new GMs when vacancies arise. What would be your strategy for helping to fill vacant GM positions?
Applications are due by Sunday January 15th. Best of luck to all applicants, we have some outstanding GMs in this league and I think you're going to give us a really tough decision.
