I need at bats at first base, is he eligible to be bid on? I did a search and didn't see his name, he is 27 years old but a first time MLB player.
If I am allowed to bid can it be more than one year or just for this current year?
If allowed multiple years my bid is .5m (24).
If allowed only this year my bid is .5m (23)
If not allowed to bid at all just explain it to me please, thank you.

During primary (offseason) free agency, players 24 or older (on January 1) who haven't completed a year of service may be bid on. However, during secondary (regular season) free agency those players cannot be bid on. They are draft eligible instead. Only players who have completed a year of service (in a season that has already ended - not the current one) can be bid on in secondary free agency.
So Fry isn't eligible for secondary free agency, but you can draft him.
Regarding multiple years (even though it's a moot point):
Multi-year offers (up to four years) are allowed during primary free agency, but only at $2 million per year or more for two-year offers (three-year at $3 million per year, four-year at $4 million per year). During secondary free agency only one-year offers are allowed. A multi-year offer on Fry wouldn't necessarily be advisable anyway, because you can just sign him for one year and then keep him as a cost-controlled player until he finishes six years.
