I am just curious what people think about moving the draft date to later in the year like November. I would be in favor of this, so we can see Sickels ratings as well as others. I also have a lot invested in the draft so I feel it would be beneficial so people won't waste a pick if their team does not sign them after the draft.
I am of course in favor of this, I am curious what everyone else has to say about this?

im in favor of later too. but maybe september or right after the season. dont wait too long. gives us a chance to make sure the guy signs, i like that thought.

the deadline for teams to sign their draft picks is august 15th. I'd say moving the draft back to immediately follow this deadline would be the best way to allow teams to draft players who can actually impact their teams/systems and prevent drafting players who go unsigned.

I could see moving it to August 15. I don't want to do it after the season though - the offseason is busy enough as it is.
The one problem with August 15 is that the draft will be going on at the same time as the playoffs. But maybe that's not a problem, I dunno.
