I accept. Look at me trading away all of my depth for a star, classic. Wanted to fill the bat void that trading robert gave me. Feels a lot better with Mookie in my OF with Julio, as well as insurance for Altuve, who has injury concerns.

All offseason I've been trying to restock the big league roster with players who won't be free agents in two years, and this trade wraps it all up nicely (though my other pieces remain on the block... message me if interested if you have pieces like these to trade that fit what I'm looking for).

Betts is an absolutely nuts franchise player with that position flexibility. He was the best player on my AL Champion team last year and I'm going to miss being able to lean on him, but adding depth and years at all three of the positions he plays makes it okay. This isn't the sexiest return for an elite player like Betts, but it's exactly what my team felt like it needed.

Going to figure out frontloading on Mookie sometime in the next 24 hours.
