With the completion of the Amateur Draft, Post-Draft Additions have begun. They may continue until December 24th at 12 am, EST.
During Post-Draft Additions, teams have the opportunity to roster up to 4 prospects from their own real-life team's system who do not appear on any Pro-GM team's official roster.
Post-draft addition players must meet the following criteria:
1) The player must have been draft eligible this year. In other words:
- The player has not completed year of service
- If the player was an international free agent during this calendar year, he was under age 24 on this past January 1
2) The player must be under contract with your associated mlb team and must have been under contract prior to the start of our amateur draft (i.e. you can't take players from other team's systems and you can't take a player who was drafted but didn't sign a contract with your team, or who signed more recently than the start of the draft).
Teams may only add players if they are under the roster limit and cap exception. No team may exceed 80 players on their roster or $164 million in salary.
The format for post-draft additions should be as follows:
Team A adds
1. George Washington, OF
2. John Adams, P
3. Thomas Jefferson, 1B
4. James Madison, SS/2B
Please include positions, it really is a pain for us to look them up.
Also, please make only 1 post per team. Once you post your additions, they are final so please do not edit them (it gets too chaotic to follow when people post a list and then post changes so only post when you're sure of who you want). If at any point before the deadline you do wish to change your selections, PM a commissioner and we will likely approve it... but it's just easier for us if this is done by PM rather than editing your list un-checked.
If you discover a player you or someone else has added is actually on another team's roster already or is otherwise ineligible, please send a pm notifying a commissioner and we will take care of the issue with the GM in question.
If you have any questions, as always, please don't hesitate to contact one of the commissioners.
