Colby Rasmus 7.0 million (2019) Stepped away from baseball sadly My understanding is that Rasmus has decided to take a leave of absence but has not officially retired. His salary can be reduced by 25% because he didn't pass 130 ABs, but he must remain under contract. If you feel that this should be considered the equivalent of a retirement, please feel free to assemble some sources that support that claim and PM me and Brian with your appeal. For now, Rasmus's salary reduced to $5.2 million per year. When you post your 2018 roster, make sure the new salary is reflected. |

1B Byung-Ho Park 20.4 million (2016-2018) DNP in 2017 - Returned to Korea Park's salary reduced to 15.3 million. That said, if you were to choose to keep Park as a cost controlled player after this year at 50% of his original salary, it would still have to be 50% of the original 20.4 million, not the new 15.3 million. |
